Friday 5th
We'd like to formally invite anyone not skating this Friday to join the MKISC committee up in the Grafton Suite from 6.30 to 7.30pm for a glass of wine or a soft drink and some nibbles on us. Come and meet the committee in relative warmth, find out about our exciting plans for the year and let us know if you have any suggestions: all welcome!
Friday 19th
We are skating a mile for Sport Relief. Instead of the usual session we will be skating a mile around the rink, which should take a few minutes for most of our members, followed by party games until 7pm. Please download the attached form and get yourself sponsored for this worthwhile event then bring your form along on the night. Mums, Dads and carers you are very welcome to skate too! The usual session costs will apply for members, plus a £1 charge for Sport Relief per skater, but adults are welcome to skate for free.
However, that is not all we are up to that night. At 7.40pm we will be hosting a workship on decorative stoning and dress making up in the bar for around an hour. If you've yet to experience stoning, want to know about different stones and and different ways of applying them, or wondered if you think you could tackle making a skating outfit, do come along .
Cost is as follows: Standing Order members £2, Monthly Cash, Weekly Cash, Associate and parent members £3, non members £4.
Finally, Planet Ice have kindly offered half price entry into Frisky Friday that night; ask at the front desk as you sign in if you want to take advantage of this offer.
